Little Sparrow (quadrille acrostic)

Little sparrow in the tree, locking beady
Eyes with me, tell me what you see I pray,
Are you scared? Why don’t you stay? I’ll pretend I’m
Very small, teeny-tiny (aren’t we all?) We will hide from
Every foe… Little
Sparrow, please don’t go.

  7. Oh this made me think of the bird watching I do in my back yard. I often think about the simplicity of their lives.
A very sweet and uplifting quadrille!

  8. I have to be quite still when the little sparrows are on my porch roof, just outside my picture window.

It is a delight to see four and five on the feeder at one time. As well as all the other birdies ;)
