SPARK (quadrille double acrostic)

Sunny days are Sailing
Past, dazzling blue skies will not last, Pity —
All that burns will die: stars, scars, stories, we, you, I… “Ashes, ashes”
Round we go, from first crocus to first snow, Roses,
Keepsakes, misprints, miss…from last breath and to first Kiss.

Live for the Love of it,
Sasha A. Palmer (aka Happy)

  5. I love that the acrostic element is not contrived at all...very seamless. A wonderful quadrille!

  9. Nice. I've don't other acrostics where you have to use the same letter down the front as well as the last letter of the same sentence.

    Lovey quadrille :) Very autumnal

  10. I liked the phrase "first crocus to first snow" and how you got the word "spark" into this.
