Walk the Tracks: the High Line Garden Park

As someone with a soft spot for big cities and railways, I particularly like the High Line. This New York city garden park was created on a railway that fell out of use in 1980:

Planning for the High Line in its current form began in 2000 and by now it's one of the top destinations for tourists and New Yorkers alike:

  1. How nice to see the greenery so vibrant and full.New York lines rather staid and dry full of cigarette butts in the coaches the last I was there. Hopefully some changes now! Thanks for sharing Sasha!
