I was so ready to vent about the dangers of blogging! :-)
Things don’t run smoothly in my household,
And there’s no telling what’s yet to unfold.
The laundry’s neglected, I scarcely cook,
My spouse, my dog, both give me the look,
The children run loose like a wild stampede,
No, things aren’t good, there’s a problem indeed.
I might have discovered a powerful rule,
I’ll call it like this – ‘blogospherical pull.’
It works its way subtly to catch you off guard,
And all of a sudden it’s pulling you hard,
You’re done, you’re hooked, it is perfectly clear,
You’re now an addict of the drug ‘blogosphere.’
“I’ll just check the stats…I can stop any time…
I’ll answer a comment…I’ll look for that rhyme…
I feel kind of dizzy…I don’t think I ate…
One moment…My Gosh! How come it’s so late?!”
Beware, my friends, it can take you off course,
The blogo-disease, the unstoppable force.
Live for the Love of it,
The Happy Amateur
