A prompt from Margo Roby (Wordgathering) is to write about words we don't/won't say. Here's my attempt:
'Tangled Up'
I hear your Talk
to me! And so they come -
The words, I don’t say - only to hit
The wall of the blank stare, the all
Knowing, unamused boredom.
All tangled up, my words,
Just like my feelings,
Crawl back inside
To stay there,
Come out
Not. Live for the Love of it,
The Happy Amateur
I really like this, especially the structure and the gradual retreat back to one. Great job.
