Walt and Marie of Poetic Bloomings challenged us to
write a cento – a collage poem made up entirely of lines from poems by other
poets. Here’s my haiku:
My heart is not here,
Somewhere over the rainbow
It lies forgotten.
(I used the lines of Robert Burns, E.Y. Harburg,
Gordon Lightfoot.)
Live for the Love of it,
The Happy Amateur
Short and sweet:)
