Over the River Hill and Down the Memory Lane: a Trip to a Garden Center

wanted to get more of 

but they were out -- got 

This taller variety--36'' (90 cm) with up to 4-inch blooms--might actually work out even better. 

I've talked to other plants in my flower bed, asked them to be nice to the new girl, and share sunshine. "Indian Summer" does require full sun. 

This view--across the road from the garden center--made me homesick

reminding me of another place, and another time

oh, well... :)
