Longwood Gardens is indeed a beautiful place. Plan to spend the whole day. I (with a choir got to sing there twice, once with the organ accompanying us...it rarely gets played - one of the largest instruments of its' kind) - and the Butterfly house is fun to visit too.
I'm not sure where Valley View farms is...I'll have to look that up. - Oh...perhaps not far from you... :)
Looks like a wonderful venue for concerts! I've heard about the organ, they also hold competitions for organists there. I wish it were a bit closer..
I haven't been to Valley View farms, either :) I first heard about the place on the weather channel, then found their blog. I hope to visit this nursery some time this year to get a few new plants for the garden.
