'Walking with Jesus'

“He approached, grasped her hand, and helped her up.
Then the fever left her, and she waited on them.”

Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Mark 1:29-39

I taught Children's Liturgy of the Word for the first time yesterday.  Here's a poem I wrote for the class.

~Walking with Jesus~

I do not have
His power divine,
But I am Him,
His path is mine.

From dawn till dusk -
My pace is quick –
With Him I walk,
And cure the sick.

With hope and love
I show them care –
His Word I spread,
His faith I share.

Live for the Love of it,
The Happy Amateur

    1. I think the kids kind of liked it, too. I hope so. I enjoyed our first class.
Thank you, Mosk the Humble :-)
