‘Children’s
Chorus’
They
are a part of something really grand -
They
know this much as they fill up the stage,
The
little ones are just six years of age,
It
might be hard for them to understand,
Or
maybe not. In simple black and white
They
stand like one. Aware of their cause,
They
hold their breath, before takeoff they pause,
All
eyes on her… And then her hands take flight -
And
music starts.
Live for the Love of it,
The Happy Amateur
I understand that feeling very well. Choirs are great for togetherness.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter joined a choir not long ago, and it's been a wonderful experience. I'm so happy for her. Thank you for the comment, Viv.
