A Sugar Plum Haiku



 



a small memory
shriveled by time and distance
a sweet sugar plum

* * * 

may your holiday
be filled with wonderful things
turned sweet memories

  7. Memories are indeed sugar plums, sometimes unmagnified by distance, but sweet when savored for what they are. Such simplicity in the verse, but broad in conception.

  10. Oh, this has special meaning for me and if one is interested can find my poem about a favorite Christmas memory on my blog posted more than a year ago....my grandfather's nickname for me was "Sugarplum"...thank you for the sweet reminder and Merry Christmas..
